With the screw-in transponder SIMATIC RF630T, an extremely compact, rewritable data memory based on EPC Class 1 Gen2 is added to the SIMATIC RF600 RFID system. The passive and maintenance-free transponder for storing the 96 bit/240 bit "Electronic Product Code" (EPC) comes with an additional user memory of 64 bytes. It is equipped with an M6 threaded pin so that it can be attached directly to electrically conductive metal parts or surfaces. It is extremely rugged (degree of protection IP68, IPX9K) and highly resistant to detergents. The transponder is available in two frequency versions: 868 MHz (Europe)

Typical fields of application

Typically the low-cost transponder is used for the radio-frequency identification (RFID) of metal parts such as motors, gearboxes, axles, carriers, skids, or workpiece holders in assembly and production.
